The "Wave-Function-Concept"

Sessions in professional lounge jazz mode. As a feature, the core group is very happy to be joined by musicians who take on the challenge of modal improvisation.

The Band

In the mid-eighties, "Die Physiker" (by profession and because Dürrenmatt has always been right) emerged to enrich the Gelsenkirchen jazz scene with bossa nova and cool jazz in the spirit of Getz / Gilberto: „Die Physiker“: Udo Reinmuth (tenor saxophone) and Thomas Schliwka (classical guitar/double bass). They even performed in the Arminbunker, the then legendary Jazz and Art Gallery, unforgotten to this day. Jazz Band - Die Physiker But the "youngsters" eventually got lost in the mills of emerging professional or family life. However already infected by jazz, both further developed their joy of playing music. One in Gelsenkirchen, the other , thanks to his profession, made the most of the opportunities for live performances in cultural scenes in Russia and South Africa. Exactly 30 years later a reunion took place. HOUSE moved into Jazz and together with Sebastian Bien (Schlagwerk/HOUSE-Operating) and inspired by the sounds of Bebel Gilberto and Gotan Projekt the formation Wave Function of this day came into being after various experiments in mid 2016. Genre: New, Cool & Bossa.
